The reason I'm here?
Well, I've got a box and some tubes with the word "Canon" written on 'em. When I point them at things, pictures come out. When I think those pictures are good enough, or have something interesting to show, I want to show them to others. Right now, that's you ;)

Two more remain. Two commercial passenger flights with the Mighty MD-11. KLM is the last airline in the world to operate this beautiful, iconic aircraft.
PH-KCB is the first to depart. Nicknamed "Maria Montessori", flight KL691 departs runway 24 towards Toronto, Canada. Nothing but blue skies above her.
One more...I can still hear my friend say those words as we watch her depart the Dutch skies. One more.
For the rest of the day we do a fairly normal day of spotting. Having a good time by the runways. But somehow this day feels a little different.
At 15:52 "Audrey Hepburn" leaves the same runway 24. She's heading towards M

I DID IT. I FINALLY DID IT.
Today (by coincidence on my 1 year anniversary here on dA) I got my first picture accepted to Airliners.net :dance: :dance:
So happy. Their standards for pictures are really high and I feel so happy and honored to be featured there.

2 Day trip to Germany

Today I got back from a 2 day bike trip to Germany.
I love this country. Beautiful winding roads, stunning views, friendly people. Absolutely fantastic
In many ways I like Germany better than my own country.
I've made a couple of panorama pictures in the last 2 days. Hope you like 'em
